| As a lot of you probably know, there is a guy scamming people on an engine that resides at IPS motorsports in Columbus, OH. Please follow the links below to get more information on this guy. Please know that IPS Motorsports is NOT in affiliation with this guy, they just have his motor for collateral due to him backing out of a TT swap. Scammer alert/info Anybody know what to do about getting scamed by a member? Local Scammer Alert! This guy goes by many aliases as you can see by the threads above. He will claim to have a Fiance named Lisa Jan which he will request all of his money be sent to. Appearantly, this is his mother. He almost got me for $3250.00 but, fortunatelly, I called IPS Motorsports a couple of days before I was supposed to the send the check and they informed me of his scams and all I lost was a mark on my E-Bay rating. Currently his ebay ID is ljd5619. He uses this ID to list his items while he bids on his own auctions under jasonadams1391. Just the other day, he won his own auction with jasonadams1391, left himself positive feedback, and relisted the engine all within a couple of hours. Also, feedback always LOOKS!!!! LIKE!!!! THIS!!!! :)
If you take a look at my feedback, (300ZXpert, you can find me as a negative mark in his feedback), you'll notice that what he left for me follows the same format as what was left for him by jasonadams1391 and what he left for ljd5619. Also, the guys up at IPS Motorsports are outstanding people. They potentially saved me a ton of cash and are currently in the works of hooking me up with another TT setup. If you ever need any JDM parts, service, or whatever else these fine gentlemen have to offer please do yourself a favor and look them up.
